Are days shortening?

Today I have a better appreciation for the amount of time in one day. Although my day was not nearly as difficult or packed as some people's, I know what it is like to be really busy. The only free time I had today was between meetings which I spent multitasking. I was working out, listening to music, surfing the web, and watching the food network all at the same time. Oh yeah and I was drinking and eating. In between sets of my home workout I was drinking coffee and eating lunch while looking at menshealth, woot, etc... It was pretty productive.

At class tonight our teacher gave us another team assignment. SURPRISE SURPRISE. I'm beginning to get very disappointed in the MBA curriculum. I once thought it was well thought out and was 100% worthwhile but I know now that many teachers just push off busy work and try and spin it off as constructive learning. That is a story all on its own.

My work is piling up right now and my free time at night is so precious yet I am stuck in my room just trying to make ends meet. I can not wait until I get a breather. Who knows when that will be?

Back from a long break

I was browsing through AIM last night and saw that my friend Colleen had started a blog because she moved out to DC which inspired me to continue posting in my blog.

Here is a wrap-up of what has happened since the summer: nothing much to speak of.

I have however changed my lifestyle from binge drinking and pigging out to working out religiously along with cooking healthy and eating very healthy. I started my lifestyle change right before Christmas break and I am down from 175 lbs to 160 lbs and still going strong. I have drastically changed the composition of my body and I feel generally better in everything I do. It has given me extreme confidence in everything and I have a much better outlook on life.

I am a Dj on a college radio show with my buddy Steve and we listen and talk about new music we like in addition to random BS.

I have a couple months left in school before I get my MBA from the University of Dayton with a concentration in Operations Management. Its a long title for a small piece of paper that will get me a higher starting salary. I do truly enjoy school now compared to undergraduate. I can't wait to begin working in the spring with Grant Thornton in Chicago as a Tax Associate. I hope I move into something more operations oriented as I gain some experience inside the company.

Thats it for now I just wanted to get started on posting to make this a habit instead of a once in a while thing.
